One of our students’ parents, Keyana, recently had the opportunity to attend KAA as a first-time Kaleo. Here’s what they had to say about their experience:
“KAA was an incredible experience, and I am so grateful to Hope Center for giving me this opportunity. I came in with no expectations, and the entire week was a delightful surprise. The KAA staff radiated genuine enthusiasm for Christ, making the whole experience uplifting and inspiring.
One of the highlights was ‘The Oasis’—a serene retreat where Kaleos could take a break, reflect, and connect with others. It was the perfect setting to unwind, reflect on one’s faith, and bond with fellow believers from across the nation. We all shared a deep desire for God’s word and a passion for working with young people, which created an immediate and welcoming community.
It was also a joy to connect with the Hope Center kids, to witness their growth, and to help them explore the meaning of salvation in a real and tangible way. I couldn’t have asked for a better team than THC Staff: Ms. Jalyn, Ms. Allison, and Mr. Tim and THC Volunteers Ms. Kisha, Michael, Lady, Jeremy, and Pastor Steve. Their commitment and enthusiasm for KAA’s mission are truly inspiring, and they carry that spirit back to Hope Center every day.
Thank you again for this amazing opportunity. KAA was a time of deep spiritual renewal and fellowship that I will cherish.”
